9:48pm Update: Another tweet from Mack Maine - this time taking on TMZ

9:35pm Update: Young Money pres Mack Maine says Weezy is conscious and in good spirits, just finished watching the Syracuse game. TMZ is still reporting he's in critical condition but becoming more stable.

8:59pm Update: Conflicting reports now. Lil Wayne friend Mack Maine tweeted: 

8:44pm Update: Lil Wayne's mother is said to be flying to Los Angeles at which point decisions will be as to whether to take him off life support

8:28pm Update: TMZ is reporting that Lil Wayne is being given his last rites

The rapper is in an induced coma and is in intensive care after suffering multiple seizures.

Earlier this week Lil Wayne was rushed to Cedars Sinai due to seizures. He was released on Wednesday but was found unresponsive by one of his bodyguards. 

Doctors reportedly found high doses of codeine in his system and he is said to be shaking uncontrollably. 

Several hip hop stars are said to be at his bedside. Get well Weezy!
