12:54pm UPDATE: 27 reported dead including 14 children
A shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School has left one dead and another injured.
Sandy Hook Elementary is located about 12 miles east of Danbury in the town of Newtown.
A 911 call was made shortly before 10am and the school was placed on lock down. Police and SWAT Teams arrived on the scene. It is believed the shooter has been killed and a teacher was shot in the foot.
