Last night was a BIG night on the Bachelorette.
Whose families does Desiree want to meet and what wise counsel did last seasons Lesley, Catherine, and Jackie give? Really, what wise counsel did the girls give? I think they just wanted to make another appearance, but whatever.
So another Michael bites the dust this week and Desiree chooses to go home with Drew, Brooks, Chris and Zak. How incredibly uncomfortable to go home and play girl friend/ wannabe finance to not one but FOUR guys. That is serious stuff bringing the family into it. It's so sad that three of those incredible guys are setting themselves up for severe heartbreak and massive embarrassment, but they signed up for the show, at least that's what I tell myself to justify their heartbreak.
I don't think by any means there should be a proposal at the end of this show, more like a REAL RELATIONSHIP! Lets start with a realistic relationship without cameras, group dates and exotic getaways.
Who would Desiree want to eat a bowl of cereal with on a Monday night after a long day of work when no one wants to cook dinner? If it were me, I'd claim Zak. He's a Texas boy, hilarious, hot, a family man and has a fun sense of adventure. Zak comes with a promise of never being bored; where do I sign!?
I think Desiree really is just enthralled with Drew's drop-dead good looks than with the man himself. She is going to hurt that sweet heart of his.
Chris is the All-American dream guy. He is tall dark and handsome, not to mention athletic, romantic and supportive, any girl would be thrilled to date a Chris.
In her interview with Chris Harrison, Desiree made it pretty clear Brooks is the forerunner in the competition. I just can't get past the long hair and cardigans; Brooks may have a great personality, but he needs a new style.
I think Desiree is falling more for a serious relationship than the guys themselves.
